Venom: Let There Be Carnage is basically Venom 1 again. Sure, Carnage shows up here and there but for the most part, Venom 2 is a retread of the first. Eddie Brock and his symbiote "friend" are once more at odds with one another. Spending a good chunk of the movie fighting each other instead of the new threats. The movie is fast, dumb and loud without providing much in terms of interesting material. A fun little end-credits scene doesn't make up for what really amounts to a mediocre experience.
